The world is not an even playing environment. SAP Foundation acknowledges that there are too many cracks in the system that allow individuals to fall by the way-side and not experience what could be.
To assist and provide an avenue for local Indigenous boys and girls to be involved and to showcase their individuality and skills as well as in trying to break the cycle and avoid lifestyle choices such as gang related and crime related association. The Government has failed, continues to fail and the Government does not have an answer. SAP Foundation believes the answer is owned by each individual.
To this end, SAP Foundation is working in conjunction with Sporting Clubs within the Prospect City area to ensure that those who cannot, for reasons beyond their control, participate and learn. Providing the resources and a program to engage at an early age, ensuring that each Individual has equal opportunity to progress and realise their greatest potential. All the while fostering integration and cross cultural education.
A sustainable philanthropic endeavour can take time, at SAP Foundation we know and are thinking big and planning for the long-term. Changing many years, generations of past bad choices is not an overnight deliverable. This will take time, effort, resources and commitment. For the next 20 years the SAP Foundation has the time, effort, dedication and commitment. To try something new, a different approach to giving individuals dignity, direction and hope! Ownership of their situation and the ability to effect change for themselves.
